Professional maritime experience, marine biology and a shared love of family adventures.
Simon grew up sailing around Jersey and the neighbouring islands. That early love of the sea became a career spanning Atlantic crossings, Caribbean charters and years working on Jersey’s waters—including as the original captain of the Jersey Duchess.
An MCA Master 200 GT and RYA Cruising Instructor, Simon brings extensive professional experience and a friendly approach aboard Serendipity. He enjoys sharing his knowledge, helping guests feel at ease and showing them the coastline he knows so well.
Daisy’s love of the ocean has taken her from marine biology in Thailand and the Maldives to scuba instruction and captaining a sailing catamaran in the Caribbean.
Together, she and Simon have sailed to the Mediterranean and raised their two daughters aboard Serendipity for a time. EasyBreeze brings together that shared love of sailing, family and adventure.
With a background in accountancy, Daisy will be your point of contact ashore, happy to answer any questions and help you plan your trip.

Before you sail
Charters depart from and return to the charter berth at St Helier Marina, Jersey. Daisy will confirm meeting arrangements with your booking.
Each charter is private for your group, with space for up to five guests plus the skipper.
You are welcome to ask about a relaxed introduction to sailing or a trip suited to your experience. Tell Daisy what you have in mind when enquiring.
Comfortable layers, a warm top, non-slip footwear and sun protection are useful. Ask Daisy about food, drinks and any personal requirements before your trip.
The skipper plans each trip around weather, tides and sea conditions. Contact Daisy to confirm arrangements, availability and the booking terms before paying.

Before you book
A 25% deposit secures your booking. The remaining balance is due 14 days before departure. Bookings made within 14 days of departure require full payment at the time of booking.
If you cancel, the following charges apply:

| 30 days or more | No charge; full refund of payments made |
| 14–29 days | 50% of the total charter price |
| Less than 14 days, or failure to attend | 100% of the total charter price |
Any payments already made will count towards the cancellation charge. If they exceed the charge, we will refund the difference. If they are less than the charge, the outstanding amount will be payable.

The skipper considers wind, tides and swell when deciding whether a trip can safely go ahead. Wherever possible, he will choose a route that offers a comfortable passage for your group.
If conditions mean a safe trip is not possible, the skipper will cancel the sailing. Safety will always come first.
If EasyBreeze Sailing cancels your trip because of unsafe weather or a problem with the vessel, you may choose another available date or a full refund of the charter payments made.
These terms apply to all our sailing experiences, including weekend charters.
